Influences and Godlike Beings

I try, in my mediocrity, to sound as good as I can, searching for that guitar sound, searching for a signature sound, but these days most of the sounds are taken, or very difficult to replicate. I'm not suggesting that I, or the group of musicians who help me to play, have mastered a sound yet, or sound as incredibly cool as these guys below, but there are benchmarks, and these are just some of them. There are more, but for me, The Byrds and Neil Young just edge it over The Beatles. The world will be a sadder place without Roger McGuinn or Neil.
